If you are working within a region that has a film commission linked to VisionNet, you can submit your location files to that film commission Location Library. This is completely optional and you are under no obligation to do so.
No contact details or privacy information about your Location will be available to users to advertise your photography and scouting skills. You retain control over your Location contact information at all times. When a Location Professional contacts VisionNet with an interest in your file, only your contact information (such as your email address) will be given them. Once they contact you it is up to your discretion to share the exact contact details with that party.
Tip: This is why you write your Location contact details in the âPrivate Notesâ section.
Once youâve added a file to your Personal Library VisionScout, you can submit the file to the public database to promote your scouting skills and knowledge of hard to find locations.
When you click the box just below the thumbnail and select âSubmit to Publicâ button at the bottom of the page, it will submitted to the VisionNet Librarian for approval before it appears on the main Location Library.
Files that are submitted may be edited by the VisionNet librarian and after submission cannot be edited in your library unless you ârecallâ them.
